Using cryptographically secure random generation
What does this tool do?
The Password Generator is an essential security tool designed to create strong, random, and unpredictable passwords. In a digital world where account security is paramount, using unique and complex passwords is your first line of defense. This tool does all the hard work for you, ensuring your passwords are as robust as possible.
Main Features:
- Secure Client-Side Generation: Your security is our priority. All passwords are generated exclusively in your browser. No information is sent to our servers, guaranteeing total privacy.
- Full Control: Customize your passwords to meet any requirement. Adjust the length, include or exclude uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid Confusion: Enable the option to exclude ambiguous characters (such as 'I', 'l', '1', 'O', '0') to ensure your password is always easy to read, without sacrificing security.
- Instant Strength Analysis: A strength meter visualizes the robustness of your password in real-time, based on entropy calculations, helping you understand what makes a password secure.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are generated passwords saved anywhere?
Absolutely not. Password generation happens entirely in your browser (on the client side). The generated password is never transmitted over the internet or stored on our servers, guaranteeing total privacy and security.
What are ambiguous characters?
Ambiguous characters are those that can be easily confused with each other, such as the letter 'l' (lowercase), the letter 'I' (uppercase) and the number '1', or the letter 'O' and the number '0'. Excluding them can make the password easier to read and type without significantly reducing its overall strength.
What is the ideal password length?
Current recommendation is at least 12 to 16 characters. However, the most important thing is the combination of length and complexity (use of different types of characters). A longer password is exponentially harder to crack through brute force attacks. For critical accounts, 20 characters or more is an excellent goal.
Can I use the same password for multiple accounts?
Absolutely not. Using the same password across multiple accounts is extremely risky. If one service is compromised, all your accounts become vulnerable. Use unique passwords for each important account, especially for email, banking, and social media. A password manager can help you keep track of multiple passwords.
